Dan,

You did it again - the Hundred Years War is a sticking point for you. This time you've used it in place of the Thirty Years War which ended with the Westphalian Peace in 1648 and laid the seeds of the nation-state. The Hundred Years War ended in 1475 with the Treaty of Picquigny and the renunciation of the French crown by the kings of England.

I look forward to reading in future installments about how the final battle of the Hundred Years War took place at Waterloo.
