On another note, I'm a big fan of traditionalist (where it worked) living and learning, but I'll always be the one everyone calls crazy because I don't think a continuation of bad traditions or isolating traditions are good. Basically, I'm not really welcome in southern churches because I like to ask questions. I still pray daily, but not in those places.
No shade from me. I live in the boonies without running water. Ironically, I find it more vitality-promoting and life-enhancing (and creativity-friendly) to hew a home out of the raw wilderness than to live in a once-hopping metropolis where all the interesting people have turned into stodgy doctrinaire conservatives according to whatever tribe they adhere to.
Right there with ya. We'll, not the really cool wilderness part. I wish I could do that. When you say stodgy conservative, I think of my uncle and why I didn't like those people. 🤣
I have an article series in mind for "how to do the wilderness thing", but haven't developed them yet because I don't know whether or not it would have much overlap with my current audience. Should I register you as a vote in favor? :-)

Yes, please. And, break it all the way down to beginner level if you will.
Well
My favorite U2 song is "Stuck in a moment" from their 2000 album. I agree with you, though. When they started to suck, they really went all in.
It's a glorious song. There were several on that album--and it was their last good album.
